The rain fell hard it pounded on the rooftops and clashed against the ground. His head cocked sideways he looked at the rain drops he could feel every single one of them as if they were a part of him. He reached out his hand from the inside of the clock tower and stopped the water drop in mid air holding it between the heavens and his hand. He swallowed the lump in his throat and looked annoyingly at the rain making a strange sound between and huff and a groan and let his hand fall back to his side still completely dry. He looked over the city the clouds covered it completely no sign of sunshine Abeal had come from a far because here there where others like him. They hid in the dark corners of the city in plain sight if only he could recognize them and reach out. He had left who he use to be who he wanted to be and come here where it rained a lot and it annoyed him, where he found himself alone and he missed it. Truth was he missed him but there was no going back now. He gave a loud sigh and hoped the rain would stop by itself and that he would not have to go all ‘storm’ on it. He waited…

What was he thinking..Seemed to be the constant words echoing in his head since he'd grabbed his passport just a little over three days ago. He'd grabbed his passport, a duffel bag and filled it with whatever clothes his hand landed on, his wallet and cellphone. What was he thinking..These words just kept repeating in his head as he went over every single detail of the past week. Now he had other words that were clouding his mind. Words centered around what he would do if anything had happened to him.
Yet, beside his constant worry, Benjamin was not without resources and when he did find himself without resources; he knew how to get information. Naturally it didn't take too long to figure out just where he was and when he had, Ben had paced back in worth, running his hand through his hair so many times he was sure he had increased his chances of premature hair loss. This wasn't typically like him, yet, he had a way of making him overcome with worry.
Standing there in the entrance, Benjamin crossed his arms and watched him examine the rain. If one looked closely they could see a bit of steam rising from various spots where the rain had gotten him. Everything else had already dried. "Do you know how worried you make me sometimes?"

He heard the voice and with a quite gasp recognized it with a frown he crossed his arms and looked straight at the rain. What was he doing here...? Abeal refused to look at him and the rain started getting heavier thanks to his emotions going high wire. He could feel the heat radiating from him *Darn him always being so warm*, annoyed he rolled his eyes and gave in breaking the silence the sound of the rain was killing him.
"Ben... go back home." His voice stubborn and whiny, he stood there firmly crossed arms and looking at the rain. He had travel so far and it seemed not to matter because just like it always had been his whole life, he was there.

With the way his head was tilted forward, a few brown locks of hair feel into Bens face while a smirk graced his features at his little brothers words. He was always telling him to go somewhere. And like always, Ben was stubborn to listen. "Now why would I do that.." He said almost rhetorically and came closer to him. Actually he was standing right behind him, leaning against the wall, there bodies almost touching. From this close behind he could feel the storm beginning to rage in him.
"You know I cant leave you here alone..Come back with me." He said while he reached out to play with the tufts of hair around the back of his neck. His touch was always affectionate.

So incredibly warm his head feeling heavy and a little dizzy wanting to lean into the touch. Realizing how close he was to actually doing made him snap shaking his head and turning slapping the hand away. "No! Don't..." he stared straight at him with glaring eyes. "You know very darn well why." His voice was deep and he meant it a thunderbolt fell a little to close. "I wont come back with you there's people here people like us Ben. They can help me... be normal." He gulped and turned to face the wall he couldn't continue looking at him not this close. "Have you even told mom you are here?" he said more calmly a tinge a worry in his voice silence fell between them.

Ben was not used to having his hand slapped away whenever he touched his brother with affection. It was one clue of how he knew Abeal was serious, especially when he had that tone. Although his tone of voice was his curse, Benjamin couldn't help but think how cute the younger male looked when he was this pissed off. Looking out when the lighting struck without even a muscle twitching, he examined the skies for a moment before he snapped his attention back to him. "Normal?" He repeated indifferently, "Your here to be normal." Ben wasn't sure where he wanted to start with that one.
"Don't worry about mom..It's fine." he said briefly to qualm his brothers worries. Well, at least he now knew why he had come here. Can't say he approved however. Again he attempted to get his brother to look at him by placing his hand on his arm. "Abi..These people your talking about. They can't change you..You'll get your head wrapped around their brainwash..But for how long? You'd be miserable and you'd try to forget why.." He gently tugged on his brothers shirt to get him to come closer..

He turned stepping forward on pure instinct it was as if his feet moved on their own, swaying unable to keep still it had been far too long since they had been close he missed his touch. He looked at his older brother and sighed. *god he was beautiful* His hand move to brush a lock of hair away from his eyes. "We cant keep doing this Ben..." His hand dropped and so did his face he looked at the ground the rain was the only noise. "Just for once let me do this on my own. I need too." He was too close from walking away and they both knew it, rain continued pouring loudly over the city.Biting his lip holding back the tears.
"What's so bad about normal." He kicked the ground making the dust disperse.

Ben allowed himself a momentary smile when he watched his brother move closer to him. He loved his brothers affection, for the longest time he seemed to always be balanced out when he was near. After all, he was fire, and his brother was water. It was almost as if yin and yang. But his momentary smile was cut short when the words leaked out and his mind absorbed them. A big part of Ben knew Abeal was right. But an even bigger part of him didn't care. Sighing roughly, Ben looked out to the rain from the corner of his eyes and avoided any eye contact. It was how he hid his true emotions. Emotions that were raging underneath his skin.
"Who is this almighty thats defining what normal is." He said with a bitter chuckle in his voice. It had been years since Benjamin had come to terms with the type of man he was. He knew what he wanted, and even if the majority of society viewed it as perverse, he just didnt care. Sighing again, he looked at his brother in defeat, "How long do you plan on staying here." He asked, wondering of the other had noticed that Ben had slipped his hand into his.

He clutched at the hand and held it tightly the rain seem to calm even steady just ben's touch calmed him. He couldn't help but hold on to him after all he had always protected him looked out for him. After what happened back at home he had no idea how he was going to face anyone again he needed somewhere where no one knew him no one knew his feelings for Ben. "I don't know who he is but I want to find him." He said kicking the ground again but this time his feet bumped slightly against his brothers. He let it stay there, "As long as it takes." Melting into the feeling he let his body draw near to the warmth until he was so close he could smell his cologne and feel his chest rise and fall.
The rain gently came to a drizzle as he laid his head on his brother's collarbone and breath in deep. He wanted to stop himself but it was too late. "I kind of forgot to book a hotel and you are the one with a big shot job." Abeal asked noticing it was getting dark and with a nervous smile knowing he just proved himself even more irresponsible.

Ben smiled at the tight grip on his hand, it was all he needed to feel for Benjamin to become completely drugged and unresponsive to his own element. And at that moment as he began to search the others' eyes, He had a good feeling just what Abeal was thinking about. Images of that fatal day starting flashing through his mind like a strobe light. When there feet touched, Ben could feel so much of the water beneath Abi's skin that was raging a calm storm. A Storm his own fire seemed to mirror. His arms automatically held the man there protectively when his brother leaned into his chest like so many times before. He sighed a breath of relief.
However it was only momentary as his brother's last words echoed around them. It made Benjamin smile despite the situation and in spite of himself, he let a deep rich chuckle. "Come on..Let's go get a room." His choice of wording was indeed on purpose, but he was the kind of guy to do things like that. It was his own way of lightening the situation. Yet..Benjamin had his reasons for trying to not take life too seriously. Oh yes..he had his reasons alright.

Later on in the night at the hotel room. Abeal needed a shower the smell of wet grass and thick air clung to him as if in graded beneath his skin, he hated it. Ironically Ben seemed to love it and would always pull him close and smell him, When they where young Ben would actually wrestle him to the ground for a good whiff. It was problematic figuring his brother out especially lately. Abeal knew this was temporary his brother had come here to make sure he was safe and to take him home. Thou he knew that when Abeal refused he would have to go back he had responsibilities and he just couldn’t very well let them hang forever. As soon as the door to the hotel was opened he quickly went in taking his shirt off and heading for the bathroom.
“I need a shower he said.” Turning on the water knowing his brother had heard him. Getting in he quickly started scrubbing he wanted to make the last few months go away. Before him and Ben,Before Ben and her, Before he was this angry and before Dad’s death. Before he loved him but he didn’t think there was a before for that one.

Abeal had been quiet the whole way while Ben leaded them towards a nice hotel to stay at for awhile. In all honesty, the man had not been expecting anything less than silence. It had given him time to concentrate on what he needed to do. He was after all, apart of a major advertising corporation back home. His position didn't allow for him to get lost in the crowd and take a few days/weeks off without being noticed. No, he was sure if he turned his cell phone on right now; he'd either be getting a call from the corporate office, or he'd have a hell load of messages already waiting for him to painfully listen to.
"I need a shower." Words he barely registered as his younger brother dashed through the hotel door and made a beeline for the bathroom shower. It was quite amusing to watch though as soon as he saw his shirt start to come up, Benjamin looked away and instead turned his focus to the room decorations. Yet, he wasn't really interested in the cheap styles. Taking off his suit jacket to drape over a chair, he loosened his tie off and unbottened the first two buttons. It was his way of getting into relaxing clothes as he crashed against the bed.
While staring up at the ceiling he closed his eyes for a moment as ghost sounds echoed in his head. Memories from not that long ago. His eyelids moved rapidly as flashes of scenes played in his head as if remembering a movie. He could still taste him on his tongue, still hear the moans and every rush of breath. The hair on his body stood up when he remembered the touch to his skin. He could map it all out in his head. It was like an addiction.
And then his phone vibrated in his pocket, making him groan and come out from his happy place. Pulling the blackberry out of his slack's pocket, he checked the number and frowned. Didn't he turn this thing off? Pressing down on the end button he watched satisfyingly as the screen displayed its shutting down mode and tossed it to the other side of the bed..Funny that the manager should give them a room with one king sized bed.
Sighing heavily, Benjamin's thoughts turned a bit gloomier as thoughts of his father's death played in his head. Not so much his father since he and Ben had never been close, but more Abi and how angry he had turned..It was part of the reason Benjamin had comforted him that day..Oh that fatal day. Sometimes he swore he was permanently stuck with the sweet scent he craved to inhale again. Shaking his head, Ben undid his belt and whipped the leather from his pants, letting it fall to the ground while he folded his hands behind his head, closing his eyes again to the welcoming images of his naked skin..
"Oh Abi.." he half sighed, half whispered.

Abeal opened the door to lay eyes on Ben looking in a daze noticing the way his pants hanged comfortably and the way his shirt was unbutton immediately going to the opposite side of the room and grabbing a clean shirt from his backpack and slipping it on. “I can take the floor he said.” Fumbling with the edge of his shirt the air turned heavy in the room. “So when are you heading back?” his voice was deep and dark clouds started forming over the city. He walked towards the bed grabbing one of the pillows. “You know she is waiting for you. You should get back soon.” His head was dizzy and he gulped down the pain. Running away hadn’t been just what happened that night. It was more it was seeing him everyday going him to someone else. He was so incredibly tender always careful of Abeal’s feelings I guess he was good at hiding his feelings. The hurt over his father’s death that night in their old room where Ben held him tightly and kissed him tenderly making unsaid promises that he knew he could not keep. Now he was here he took a sit at the edge of the bed looking towards the ground sadness seeping into every pore of him; he waited for an answer.

Snapping his head up the minute the surrounding air became humid, Ben looked up to see Abeal done with his shower and heading quickly to dress. He turned his head away to give his brother the privacy he seemed to want. There had been a time when the two walked around shamelessly nude. Ever since that day, Ben had noticed how conservative his brother had gotten. Likewise, he followed suit so as not to make him uncomfortable. Ben was always doing something along those lines for him. He cared. Probably more than he should. "You'll sleep on the bed.." He stated and looked over his shoulder to see him dressed already.
"I dont know Abi.." He chuckled and smiled bitterly around the room. It was funny to him, he had traveled thousands of miles. Abandoned his work, his obligations..his engagements; all for this kid brother of his. Feeling Abeal's storm begin to rage again, he looked back over his should and sat closer, placing a tender hand on the male's shoulders and caressed him with his thumb. As always was his attempts to calm the sea.
"Abi you never did get it." He started and looked at his brother long and hard. Yet his eyes held so much tenderness for him, a tenderness he held for no one else, "You come first, always. I'm here for as long as I need to be." And with that answer, he gave him a look that clearly said he wasn't leaving unless Abi came with him. She could wait..and she would wait he knew that very clearly. Yet who she was, was not of importance for the moment being. Sighing heavily, he rested his forehead on Abi's shoulder and inhaled deeply, thinking hard like always. He did manage to remember to bring his laptop of which he could always work from so his job wasn't too much to worry. Abi had no idea just what he could manuever to make his claims true. He would stay until he got his little brother home.

Warm fingers pressed against his shoulder melting away the sadness closing his eyes to enjoy the contact. He loved it when Ben touched him how warm he was he could evaporate into him. He knew Ben was staying and that was enough to let him relax for a moment dropping his guard and reaching and curling his fingers around his brothers locks he caressed gently. Ben had a power over him he tended to make him feel safe which for most of their childhood Abeal took advantage of sleeping in his brother’s arms even when they became teenagers’ . He remembered exactly the day his father had laid a hand on Abiel for ruining his favorite shirt. Ben had lost it defending him claiming him as his own and no one could hurt him. It was like this it was a well known fact in high school. Tomorrow he would look for a cure a answer tonight he enjoyed the deep throaty smell that his brother provided like a scented candle. He could not help but breathe deeply place a hand against his. “I get that you came here to make sure I was safe.” his voice was soft and full of tenderness. “Thanks.” He rubbed his thumb against the back of his brothers palm.
